As you can see at top the page, Penny Pieces is on its way. Are you gonna be there? Cuz I know I am! This event has
been a year in planning, beginning with the concept of the soap box (Liquid Soap), toying with the idea of Slam Poetry,
and revolving around the idea of gathering artists from all realms to enjoy, challenge, and encourage each other as artists,
free thinkers, and creators. I'm looking forward to each weekly challenge and to always taking it higher. Here's hoping
the creative gods are watching over us!!!!
Well,
here’s to year three. The last two years have been a growing experience, and this year, no less. I am so grateful to
God (or whatever name you chose) to have this experience. To work with such dedicated professionals who have the same desire
I do, to make a show worth seeing. I mean, the message is presented with breathtaking realism thanks to this group, and hopefully,
I helped nudge them just a bit in the right direction. Thank you to Breezy Perkins and John Lowell for the parts that you
contributed. Thank you to F Daniel Kent for hard work in advertising, and photographing everything. Thank to Neil Morholt,
for contributing to the budget, and of course, thank you to the cast for pulling together when times were tough.
Tara, you are literally the wind beneath our wings.
Becky,
you are an awesome 2nd Director.
Menzo, your gentle kindness amazes.
Chuck, you are my
mentor, in various ways.
Megan, you are so much the hero.
Amanda, thank you for fighting for this.
Eddie,
the man behind the cast, and my leader, always.
Thank you to all the venues for hosting, and the magazines
and newspapers for advertising.
Thank you to my partner, David, and my family, for not only supporting
me but also pushing me.
And finally, thank you to Matthew Shepard and family,
Moises and company, for changing my life for good. . . . I love you all.
